The above deal did not work. I never got the $20 in points.I only purchased these items because of this deal. Where do you get information about deals? Who do I call/email to see why I didn’t get these poits?
I’m very sorry to hear this deal did not work out for you. I ordered products for myself and had no problem getting points the following day. In fact I did two different successful transactions. I did not do however do this exact scenario for myself, but rather mixed and matched items. The points back deals were advertised on their site as well as the promotion code and the toughskins dresses were in fact included in the promotion. Unfortunately there are a variety of situations which may prevent you from earning points. Such as if the order wasn’t placed during the promotion time frame, if the sizes/colors you chose weren’t items “Sold by Sears”, if you did not order enough to hit the required threshold to trigger points back or if you paid with points this could prevent you from earning points.
Potential points earned should show (in desktop mode) at the bottom left of your screen in the cart. During checkout they should also show as you will earn x on this order as well. When this deal was tested at the time it was showing that you should earn the $20 on the transaction. Do you remember if that was the case for you when you placed your order? The only reason I can think they may have denied it is because it was $0.80 from hitting the $40 threshold, but the order was well over $40 prior to the discount and the points were showing as pending when I had tested it. Are you a personal shopper of mine? If so I may be able to pull up the order history and take a look at why it may have been denied. Once again I apologize that you had difficulty with this deal. We always try our best to verify the legitimacy of all deals prior to placing them on our site. Although I know it is a hassle, if they can not resolve the problem you should still be within the limit to have no problem returning the items for a full refund with your printed receipt.
